The following have apps that allow you to send photos directly from your smartphone and pick up the photos at your local store the same day, in some cases even within an hour. Most of us have photos sitting on our smartphone that we always say we are going to get printed someday. Why wait for someday?
One of the questions I am asked most is “Should I upgrade to Windows 10?”
For most users the answer is there are few advantages for Windows 10 for the average user. Some day you will be forced to upgrade, but don’t be rushed now. I would not avoid Windows 10 on new computers, but on older hardware there is no overwhelming advantage to Windows 10 over Windows 7.
Windows 10 is not the nightmare that Windows 8 was to many users who struggled to relearn how to do even basic tasks. There is a slight learning curve for Windows 7 users, but it is no longer overwhelming to most users.
On the other hand, if you are buying a new computer with a touch screen and already use a gesture based smart-phone, then Windows 10 is for you.
Windows Server 2003 support ended this week. You are now vulnerable to attack with no updates or support from Microsoft.
It was not just the information on 4.2 million Federal employees. It also was the information of 21.5 Americans who had a background check run on them by the government. This includes independent contractors who were checked out because they were providing goods or services to the government any time over the last 15 years. If like me you required a background check to provide services to the government, your personal data may be at risk.
If it wasn’t for the “social” hackers, the biggest “for profit” hackers would still be
secretly selling these backdoor threats to your safety and privacy to the richest corporations and biggest governments.
There are no “good guys in this story. Please upgrade ASAP and protect yourself!
